Distribution.

Found throughout Peninsular Malaysia. Elsewhere, in southern Thailand ( Maassen 2001).

Remarks.

Small shell. Globular, convex whorls. Very similar to Alycaeus conformis , differs only by the more expanded penultimate whorl and calcrete-encrusted operculum exterior.
