Notes
Questionable status. Frequently reported from the Mediterranean (e.g. Castelli et al. 2008, Mikac 2015), but Pleijel and Dales (1991) and Pleijel (1993) consider the species to be restricted to the Arctic and the Mediterranean specimens to belong to Mystides caeca . Specimens from Cyprus were re-identified as Mystides caeca Langerhans, 1880 by Çınar (2005).
