Notes
Reported from Greece by Faulwetter et al. (2011a) and Keklikoglou et al. (2013). Widely distributed in the Mediterranean ( Musco and Giangrande 2005). Considered cosmopolitan, but Paresque et al. (2016) found morphological differences between specimens from different localities and raise the possibility of Opisthosyllis brunnea constituting a species complex.
