Restricted to Kinta Valley.

Remarks.

Shell small to medium-sized. Final whorl occasionally detached, with large upturned pneumatophore formed through peristomal folding. Shell patterns vary from dense zigzags and peripheral band over brown whorls to fugitive brown zigzags over white or purple whorls. Rhiostoma macalpinewoodsi ( Laidlaw 1939) is synonymous with Rhiostoma jousseaumei , as intermediates were found in our study sites.
