Distribution.

In Peninsular Malaysia, known from Kinta Valley, Perak. Elsewhere, in Sumatra, Indonesia ( Maassen 2000).

Remarks.

Shell smaller and flatter than Philalanka kusana , spire low. Shell yellow to light brown. Five or more major spiral ridges and more changes in angularity of whorls. New record for Peninsular Malaysia.
