Distribution.

In Peninsular Malaysia, known from Pahang ( Maassen 2001) and Perak. Elsewhere, ranges from Sumatra to Maluku, in Indonesia ( Vermeulen and Whitten 1998).

Remarks.

Distinguished from Philalanka pusilla by the white shell, taller spire, two to three major spiral ridges with many minor spiral lines and less changes in the angularity of whorls. New record for Perak.
