This new species is unique among the five species now recognised in this genus in having the body sharply bicoloured, with the head and thorax dark but the abdomen white.
Specimens examined. Holotype female, Martinique, Soudon [14°38’43”N – 61°00’22”W] 16.ii.2012, on Dieffenbachia seguine (Araceae) in banana crop (P. Ryckewaert), in Collection CIRAD-CBGP, Montpellier, France. Paratypes: 4 females taken with holotype.
