Panamic Soldierfish. To 19.2 cm (7.6 in) TL (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California). Isla de Cedros ( Ramírez-Valdez et al. 2015), and on mainland, Rocas Chester, central Baja California (M.L., unpubl. data) to upper Gulf of California (Schneider and Krupp in Fischer et al. 1995) to Peru ( Robertson and Allen 2015) , including Islas Galápagos ( Grove and Lavenberg 1997). Depth: surface (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California), 1–33 m (3–108 ft) (min.: Personal communication: Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History Fish Collection, Los Angeles, California; max.: Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California).
