Mexican Horn Shark. To about 100 cm (39.4 in) TL ( Ramírez-Amaro et al. 2013). De La Cruz-Agüero et al. (1997) list the maximum length as much larger, 1.7 m TL (5.6 ft). Bahía Magdalena, southern Baja California ( De La Cruz-Agüero et al. 1994), into the Gulf of California ( Compagno 1984), and possibly to northern Peru ( Chirichigno and Vélez 1998). Benthic; depth: intertidal to 67 m (218 ft) (min.: Pollom et al. 2020c; max.: Personal communication: Los Angeles County Museum of Natural History Fish Collection, Los Angeles, California); reports to 250 m (820 ft) ( Pollom et al. 2020c) are undocumented.
