Yellow Bobo. To 50 cm (19.7 in) TL ( Jiménez Prado and Béarez 2004). Los Angeles Harbor, southern California (Personal communication: Scripps Institution of Oceanography Fish Collection, La Jolla, California) to Chile ( Pequeño 1989), including Gulf of California ( Miller and Lea 1972). Inshore ( Miller and Lea 1972); marine and brackish waters ( Fricke et al. 2020); depth: 0–107 m (351 ft) (min.: Robertson and Allen 2002; max.: Amezcua Linares 1996).
