Other host: Larus californicus Lawrense , Larus audouinii, Payraudeau , Larus marinus (L.).

Location: Oesophagus and under Koilin in gizzard.

Localities: Otago Peninsula, Ranginata Island, Lyttelton Harbour ( New Zealand), Chubut Province ( Argentina), Brazil (named as C. tanakai by Rodrigues & Vicente, 1963), Talcahuano ( Chile).

Life history: H1 amphipods. H2 fish.
