Type species: Mimosiphonops vermiculatus Taylor, 1968 by original designation and monotypy.
Diagnosis: The only siphonopids with the tentacular apertures closer to the nares than to the eyes.
Distribution: Brazil.
Content: Two species ( reinhardti , vermiculatus ).
