Type species: Austrotritia quadricarinata Sellnick, 1959

Diagnosis. The diagnosis for Austrotitia is mainly according to Niedbała (2000), except one modification: dorsal carina present or absent.

Distribution. China, Australia, Canary Islands, Finland, Hawaii, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Maldives Islands, Nepal, Pacific Islands, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam.
