Type species: Caenopedina cubensis A. Agassiz 1869 , by original designation. Assigned species: 13 Recent, 3 extinct (Table 1).

* C. depressa is known only from a single, small specimen, possibly a juvenile of C. superba (see Mortensen 1940b).
