Only four species of Remartinia are known, two of which occur in Ecuador. These are large green aeshnids with small black markings ( Fig. 65 View FIGURE 65 ). See Calvert (1956) and Carvalho (1992) for species identification. Known mainly from small ponds with emergent vegetation along the edges.
