A monotypic genus, medium-sized with clear wings; males are unusual in possessing a prominent, vertical projection on abdominal segment 10 ( Fig. 59 View FIGURE 59 ; also, see Garrison et al. 2010). Habitat is small rivers at medium elevations (approximately 1000 m).
