Iheringia Keyserling, 1891: 25 (type species by monotypy I. lutea Keyserling ). First synonymized by Simon, 1895: 1068. Synonymy with Otiothops View in CoL removed by Simon, 1903: 986. Re-synonymized by Platnick, 1975: 5.

Diagnosis. Species of the genus Otiothops differ from other Otiothopinae by the presence of claw tufts and closely spaced posterior median eyes (see Platnick, 1975, figs 10 and 12).
