Capniidae gen. sp.

The presence of a snowfly was reported in a checklist of aquatic insects of the Chichiawan, Kashe, Hsuehshan, Matala and Paishin creeks in Taiwan, without precise locality and generic assignment ( Yeh et al. 2003). Given the very isolated occurrence, it could refer to a new species, and most probably also a new genus.
