Notes. The hemielytral pattern in this species exhibits yellow markings similar to those in O. unidentatus Nieser & Chen, 1992 , but the body form is less elongated. The lateral expansions of the pronotum are wider than in O. unidentatus , and the brown colour on the posterior margin of the pronotum is more dispersed. The anterior femura are not at all curved in the apical part. The frontal plate is dark with yellow metallic reflections, and there are more carinated ridge markings on the margins near the eyes and in the centre of the inferior part than in O. unidentatus . This latter characteristic was not noted by previous authors except Kormilev (1971), and is not reported in Schell’s revision, nor by Nieser & Chen (1992).
