Diagnosis. Genus of Arrhopalitidae with characters: trichobothrial pattern of caecus - type (ABC form an angle towards 90º, AB≥BC); secondary seta FS is absent in fore and mid tibiotarsi; cuticular spines on anal valves present or in some species secondarily lost; anterior surface of dens with 5 (seldom with 4) transversal rows of setae, anterodistal seta as a spine or simple; shape of mucronal apex more or less globular; Ant IV often undivided or indistinctly divided on subsegments; head with single exceptions bears spine-like setae.
