REMARQUES

Les taxons supra-spécifiques des gastéropodes proches des Tibia Röding, 1798 récents ont été revus par Kronenberg & Burger (2002). Basés sur des caractères conchologiques, ces taxons sont considérés comme des genres plutôt que comme des sous-genres. La famille Rostellariidae , comprenant le genre Tibia récent ainsi qu’un certain nombre de genres fossiles, est étroitement proche des Strombidae Rafinesque, 1815 , mais en est séparée. Les relations exactes dans ce clade restent incertaines. Nous suivons ces auteurs et considérons ici la famille des Rostellarriidae.
