Arius cookei Acero & Betancur-R., 2002a : 134, figs. 1–2. Paratype ( Fig. 54 ): ICN-MHN 5721, male (343.0 mm SL), Panamá, Herrera, París, 7 km from the mouth of Santa Marta River.

Remarks: Currently as Notarius cookei .

Arius neogranatensis Acero & Betancur-R., 2002b : 7, figs. 1–2. Paratype: ICN-MHN 5722, Colombia, Córdoba, San Antero, mouth of middle Tinajones River , 09°25’N 75°48’W.

Remarks: missing. Currently as Notarius neogranatensis .

Remarks: Missing.

Galeichthys bonillai Miles, 1945: 454 , figs 4. Neotype: ICN-MHN 9873, female (411.0 mm SL): Colombia, Antioquia, Puerto Berrío, Magdalena River , 06°30’N 74°24’W, collected by artisanal fisherman and purchased by G. Galvis, 24 May 2004 . Paratype: ICN-MHN 8249, male (368.0 mm SL), Colombia, Antioquia, Atrato River, mouth El Roto, Golfo de Urabá , 08°07’N 76°58’W.

Remarks: Missing, currently as Notarius bonillai ( Miles, 1945) (Acero & Betancur, 2006).
