Diagnosis. Mandibles longer than length of clypeus, distinctly cross each other. Clyepus as long as wide, emarginate apically. Female with small cephalic foveae on vertex. Vertex sloping behind ocelli. Pronotal carina incomplete, absent dorsally. Anterior face of pronotum with two small, deeply impressed medial pits or foveae. Mesepisternum with well developed epicnemial carina. Pretegular carina absent. Tegula as long as wide, emarginate posteriorly, not exceeding posterior end of parategula. Axillary fossa wide. Propodeum in line with metanotum, ventral area of propodeum strongly concave. Propodeal orifice wide dorsally. Submarginal carina produced as pointed process above valvula. Propodeal valvula free from submarginal carina posteriorly. Metasoma subsessile, T1 with two transverse carina, both transverse carinae close to each other at crest of declivity ( Fig. 51 View FIGURES 48 – 54. 48 ). T2 long, raised and subtuberculate in middle at base. SMC2 basally acute. Prestigma shorter than pterostigma. Mid tibia with one apical spur. Ƌ: F11 usually flap-like, not pointed; F10 shorter than previous ones; terminal flagellomeres with groove on inner margin. Body length usually less than 10 mm.
Distribution. Australian, Ethiopian and Oriental Regions.
