Genus diagnosis. Tegoribatids with lamellae medially fused, forming tectum that covers prodorsum; setae in absent; setae le setiform and located on lamellar tectum anteriorly; setae ro setiform and minute; pteromorphs movable; ten pairs of minute notogastral setae; octotaxic system expressed as saccules; postanal saccule present; infracapitulum diarthric modified with anterior tectum covering genae (galumnoid type); axillary saccule present; tutorium present; epimeric formula 3-1-2-2; six or five pairs of genital setae; ag setae present; three pairs of adanal setae; two pairs of anal setae; tarsi tridactylous; tarsi II short and thick, with dens on dorsal edge; at least setae pv'' and it'' thicker.
