Leptochilus regulus de Saussure
Material examined: Azarbāijān-e Sharghi: Miāneh- Ghoylār, 1200m., 20.VI.2003, leg. Abbāsi. Remarks: This is apparently a new record, although Giordani Soika (1970) recorded the subspecies Leptochilus regulus gallicus (de Saussure) from Armenia.
The following species have been previously recorded from Iran but were not collected, all in the subgenus Lionotulus: Leptochilus fuscipes Gusenleitner , L. lorestanicus Gusenleitner , L. membranaceus membranaceus (Morawitz) , L. neutralis neutralis (Giordani Soika) and L. ressli Gusenleitner.
