STATUS AT MADANG. Reported from Madang as Bregmaceros macclellandi (non Thompson, 1840) by Herre (1933: 12). AMS material. This is apparently an undescribed species; Bregmaceros mcclellandii Thompson, 1840 is restricted to Arabian Sea, Bay of Bengal and Gulf of Thailand according to Torii et al. (2003). DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Western Pacific. Pelagic-neritic, 0–2000 m. Marine.

STATUS AT MADANG. New record from Madang, based on a specimen collected by W.-J. Chen, St. CP 3968. NTUM material (NTUM 10060, 10062).

DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Red Sea and Arabian Sea east to Taiwan and Japan; Papua New Guinea. Pelagic-neritic, 0–2000 m. Marine.

DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Taiwan to southern Japan; Papua New Guinea. Pelagic-neritic, 0–2000 m. Marine.

STATUS AT MADANG. New record from Madang, based on specimens collected by W.-J. Chen in Madang Bay. NTUM material (NTUM 10271).

DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. East Africa east to Hawaiian Islands, north to Amami Islands. Benthic, reefassociated, living in holothurians, 1– 150 m. Marine.

DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Red Sea, East Africa and KwaZulu-Natal ( South Africa) east to Line and Society islands, south to New Caledonia. Benthic, reef-associated, living in holothurians, 1– 62 m. Marine.

STATUS AT MADANG. First record from Madang by Allen & Erdmann (2012: 126). A specimen collected at St. PR 13. WAM material.

DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. Red Sea, East Africa and Mascarenes east to Hawaiian, Society and Gambier islands, north to Ryukyu Islands, south to Western Australia, Queensland ( Australia) and New Caledonia. Benthic, reef-associated, living in holothurians, 0– 30 m. Marine.

STATUS AT MADANG. New record from Madang, based on a specimen collected at St. PR 9; specimens collected by W.-J. Chen, St. PR 116. NTUM and SMF material (NTUM 10106, 10166, 10273; SMF 34921). DISTRIBUTION AND HABITAT. East Africa east to Hawaiian and Pitcairn islands, north to Taiwan, south to New South Wales ( Australia). Benthic, reef-associated, living in holothurians, 1– 30 m. Marine.
