Type species: Belippo anguina Simon, 1910 ( São Tomé Island)

Belippo is an ant-mimicking genus with ten species already described (World Spider Catalog 2015) that occur only in Africa (three of them are known only from São Tomé Island). Two further species are described in this paper. The spiders of this genus are small and the most characteristic feature of males is the movable retrolateral tibial apophysis; females are featured by the primary and secondary spermathecae joined by a thin, long canal. It is the first report of Belippo for Kenya.
