5 “As described by Nutting (1900:75), those of Hippurella annulata , type species of Hippurella , are axillary and by inference unprotected (in being assigned to Antennopsis ), while those of H. longicarpa , type species of Antomma , are protected by phylactocarps at the ends of the branches.»
