Anthaxia ( Haplanthaxia) puchneri Bílý & Sakalian, 2014: 619 . Type locality: Angola, Province Huila, Caconda – Huambo road, near Nova Monçaõ, 1640 m, 13 ° 262 ′S 15 ° 227 ′E.

Type specimen studied. Holotype by monotypy (male, NMPC, Fig. 20 ): “ Angola, Prov. Huila, Str. zw. Caconda u. Huambo, Umgb. Nova Monçaõ, 1640 m, 13 ° 262 ’S 15 ° 227 ’ O, 8.– 12.xi. 2012, leg. A. Puchner”.

Further specimen studied. ANGOLA: Tchitunda, Anthaxia luctuosa Obenberger, A. Théry det. (male, LCDF, Fig. 18 ).

Théry ( 1947) listed among other Anthaxia -species collected by the Monard´s expeditions also one specimen of Anthaxia luctuosa Obenberger, 1922 . A. luctuosa is a synonym of A. albovillosa Kerremans, 1913 ( Bílý & Kubáň, 2010) and moreover also a homonym ( A. luctuosa Lucas, 1846 )—see Bílý, 2006.

After having studied the specimen determined by Théry ( 1947) as A. luctuosa and compared it with the holotype of the recently described A. ( H.) puchneri ( Fig. 20 ) I found them to be conspecific. The female is unknown.

Distribution. Angola.
