One female of 560 mm TL (Figure 6) caught by the vessel “Ría de Cedeira” on 19th December 2006 at 676 m depth in the north of Galicia (“ As Paredes”: 44º 0 7 N – 08º 07’ W)

**Lynophryne coronata Parr, 1927 — Deep-sea anglerfish

Not mentioned for Galicia by Cohen in Whithead et al. (1986). Recorded from the Galicia Bank by Bañón et al., (2006): one female of 223 mm TL with an attached parasitic male of 29 mm TL (Figure 7), at 762– 764 m depth.
