Specimens of
Acrotona smithi
Casey from New Brunswick were collected during May on the upper margin of a sea beach from decaying sea wrack under alders (
Alnus
sp.) and on gravel and sand.
Distribution in Canada and Alaska.
NB.
This species is more widely distributed in eastern Canada, and all other new records are reported in
Brunke et al. (2012)
