Fig. 18L Abbreviated description: Cp more elongate in lateral view than preceding two species, with dorsal margin more rounded and with rounded lateral sides in dorsal view, greatest width situated in the middle. RV overlapping LV on all sides, but less so than in most other species. Valve surface pitted, more so than in the preceding two species. Measurements: length of female = 540–546 µm. Locality: Mbamba Bay , Malawi at 7–10 m depth ( 23/3/1999 ) .
