Recognition characters:
Brownish species; length
7–13 mm
; mystax white; thorax silvery gray pollinose laterally and brown dorsally; scutellum gray pollinose lacking bristles, few white marginal setae present; wings with brownish aspect; abdomen brown and gray pollinose; legs yellow with only the apical third of hind tibiae brown.
