Wilhelm Ehrhardt (1860-1936?) was a professional collector and taxidermist. He emigrated permanently from Hamburg in 1897 and moved to the state of Santa Catharina in South Brazil. For many years, he collected important series of vertebrate and invertebrate specimens on behalf of numerous museums and scientific institutions in Europe, e.g. the British Museum of Natural History London (BMNH), the Senckenberg Museum Frankfurt am Main (SMFD), the Zoologisches Museum
