Diagnosis Mouth opening very wide, 2.0-2.2 x malar space; mandibles very large, with outer tooth falcate and separated by a wide gap from the two small inner teeth, which are subacute and closely approximated; female gaster relatively long, 1.8 x as long as wide with ovipositor sheaths protruding beyond apex of Gt7. Distribution (Former) Czechoslovakia, Germany, Ireland, Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom ( Graham 1961 ), Russia and Switzerland ( new records ). Ecology Host Agropus ahrensi Germar ( Coleoptera : Chrysomelidae ) ( Graham 1991 ). Material examined Type material: holotype ♀ (OUMNH).
