Etymology.
The specific name refers to the
type
locality, noun in apposition.
Diagnosis.
Purcelliana kamaseb
sp. nov.
resembles
P. khabus
sp. nov.
in having the carapace reddish-brown and strongly rugose (
Figs 26A, B
), and by the male palp with the embolus curved retrolaterally (
Figs 32B
,
33B
). The males are distinguished by the palps with vRTA pointed in ventral view and truncate in retrolateral view (rounded in
P. khabus
) and by the dRTA bent ventrally (bent dorsally in
P. khabus
) (
Figs 32B, D
); females are distinguished by the epigyne with diverging V-shaped copulatory openings (converging in
P. khabus
) and by the posterior-median depression with longitudinal grooves (absent in
P. khabus
) (
Figs 30E
,
32E
). Both males and females are markedly larger that those of
P. khabus
.
