Remarks.
The species cannot be categorized in any known
Sparassidae
genus, and it certainly does not belong to the genus
Eusparassus
.
More likely it is a member of an undescribed genus which would be grouped within the subfamily
Sparassinae
, when more material (especially the conspecific female) from the type locality is recovered. The
holotype
was most likely collected between
Mombasa
and Lake Victoria in
Kenya
, formerly known as “
British East Africa
”.
