Diagnosis
Male imago.
(1) Forewing with two reddish brown bands, second band parallel to posterior margin of wing (

); (3) hind wing with 15–30 cross veins (

); (4) costal process of hind wing compound (
Figure 27E
); (5) abdominal sterna washed with red spots with one mark anterolaterally; (6) forceps segment I wide at base, segment III elongate (

).
Female imago.

Callibaetis sellacki
is recorded for the first time from
Brazil
; the forewing colour pattern allows quick identification of this species. The Brazilian specimen was collected in a lake at an altitude of
