(1) Forewing with two reddish brown bands, second band parallel to posterior margin of wing ( Figure 27D ); (2) marginal intercalary veins paired ( Figure 27D ); (3) hind wing with 15–30 cross veins ( Figure 27E ); (4) costal process of hind wing compound ( Figure 27E ); (5) abdominal sterna washed with red spots with one mark anterolaterally; (6) forceps segment I wide at base, segment III elongate ( Figure 27C ). Female imago. Comments Callibaetis sellacki is recorded for the first time from Brazil ; the forewing colour pattern allows quick identification of this species. The Brazilian specimen was collected in a lake at an altitude of 1043 m . Material examined Three male imagos and one female imago, ARGENTINA , Buenos Aires, Tandil, A Quequén Chico , 6 / i / 1983 , Domínguez col. ( INPA ).
