Polyphagous, reported from 84 species belonging to 42 plant families ( García Morales et al. 2016 ). Distribution. Australasian, Afrotropical, Nearctic, Neotropical, Oriental and Palaearctic regions ( García Morales et al. 2016 ). This is the first record of Ps. cryptus in Uruguay .
