Sphaenothecus bilineatus (Gory, 1831)

Oaxaca, San Pablo Etla, La Mesita, 17.165718°N, 96.739457°W, elevation 1942 m, oak forest (2), 22/April/2023, beaten from flowers of Bursera fagaroides , coll. J.G. Martínez-Hernández (CIUM). Previously reported on Baccharis sp. ( Asteraceae ), Cassia sp. ( Fabaceae ), Leucaena pulverulenta (Schlechtendal) Bentham ( Fabaceae ), Prosopis juliflora (Swartz) de Candolle ( Fabaceae ), Vachellia farnesiana (Linnaeus) Wight and Arnott ( Fabaceae ), Ficus sp. ( Moraceae ), Coffea arabica Linnaeus ( Rubiaceae ), Ulmus crassifolia Nuttall ( Ulmaceae ) ( Tavakilian and Chevillotte 2023). The species has also been reported on flowers of 118 different plant species ( Tavakilian and Chevillotte 2023).
