Material examined. China, Fujian. 1 male, Wuyishan, Xingcun , Xianfengling , 27°43'30"N, 117°39'36"E, 2-V- 2014, leg. Mei Qin [SM02454]. GoogleMaps

Diagnosis. The species is characterized by its oblong-ovate gonostylus with the inner side significantly concaved, with the apical tooth located on a dorsal lobe, and one flagellate seta under the apical tooth; gonocoxite with a big long-tongue-shaped intercoxal lobe that is apically setose, ventral inner side of gonocoxite bearing long setae; tegmen oblong-pyramidal, parameral apodeme laterally sclerotized on dorsal side; maxillary palps 2- segmented, basal segment with 3–4 setae ( Rudzinski, 2006).

Distribution. China (Fujian, Taiwan; Fig. 16 View FIGURE 16 ) ( Rudzinski, 2006).

Remarks. This species was first described from Taiwan, China. The Fujian specimen differs by having the tooth arise from the apical fourth of gonostylus, not from the apex as in the type specimen illustrated by Rudzinski (2006). Furthermore, the new material bears very dense setae on the lateral side of the intercoxal lobe, while it is nearly bare in the type. In addition, slight differences are found in the measurements: length/width index of 4th flagellomere = 2.5, wing length = 1.93 mm and R1/R = 0.75 in the type specimen; whereas length/width index of 4th flagellomere = 3.21, wing length = 2.83 mm and R1/R = 1.27 in the Fujian specimen. Despite the above differences, we do not consider the new material as a new species due to their common and unique prolonged intercoxal lobe and laterally sclerotized parameral apodeme.
