Distribution. Old records: Colombia, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, USA. New records: French Guiana: ca. 10 km E Cayenne, 6/VI/2005, J. E. Eger & M. T. Messenger (3 ex FSCA).

New Host Plants. Mexico, Intercepted at Brownsville, Texas, lot 47-16867, 28/II/1947, Shiller, reared seed Ipomoea carnea subsp. fistulosa (Mart. ex Choisy) D.F. Austin (2 ex CEAM, 4 ex USNM) .
