COMMENTS: In the original description, Hartert and Neumann cited Ansorge’s unique number of the holotype; they gave the range as Mossamedes. The single paratype in AMNH is from Chibia, AMNH 668704, adult male, 3 February 1906, collected by Ansorge (no. 309) .
