Coloration and structure similar to K. megha but with 4 transverse carinae behind ocelli and 10–11 carinae on ocellocular area below ocelli. Frontoclypeus with 6 complete carinae medially below ocelli, rest of frontoclypeus strongly wrinkled.

Abdominal tergal apodemes on segment 2–4 absent, sternal apodemes on 2 and 3 well developed. Male eighth sternite broader than long, its caudal margin slightly concave in middle, setae confined to median area in distal 0.6.

Male genitalia: Ventral process of pygophore gradually narrowed to acute apex, distal half with longitudinal rugae. Subgenital plate with very shallow concavity proximally on mesal margin. Style apophysis of type 1. Aedeagus stout, short, distal half of shaft stout, rounded, in caudal view slightly narrowed distally with bilobed apex.

Measurements: Male 9.50 mm long, 2.20 mm wide across eyes, 2.80 mm wide across hind margin of pronotum.

Material examined: Holotype ď, India: Kerala: Manantoddy, 840 m, 16.x.1975, C.A. Viraktamath ( UAS).

Remarks: Externally this species resembles K. megha but differs in having a more slender apically tapered ventral pygophore process devoid of spicules and a more robust aedeagus.
