Pygofer somewhat triangular, setose in posterior half, caudodorsal process short, blade-like, with prominent tooth on dorsal margin at about midlength, apex bilobed with serrated margins ( Figs. 26 View FIGURES 26 G–H). Subgenital plate long with setae on lateral margin, narrowed in basal 1/3, with an apical spine preceeded by serrate margin in apical 1/5 ( Fig. 26 D View FIGURES 26 ). Valvula I slightly curved, with sculptured area in apical ¼ ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 11 M–N). Valvulae II with four basal teeth followed by a number of less prominent teeth on dorsal margin, toothed area confined to apical ¼ ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 11 O–P).

Measurements. Male 6.4−6.5 mm long, 1.8 mm wide across eyes and 2.0 mm wide across posterolateral angles of pronotum. Female 7.9 mm long, 1.9 mm wide across eyes and 2.1 mm wide across posterolateral angles of pronotum.

Material examined. HOLOTYPE ♂, INDIA: Satmowedon , 5.xii.1977, COll. K.R. Rao ( ZSIC) . Other material: INDIA: Mizoram: 1 ♂, 1 ♀, Kolasib, 24.iv.2012, Mercury vapor light, Rony, K. (NPC).

Remark. Male genitalia of this species agrees well with the generic characters of Glaberana and hence the generic transfer. G. khasiensis resembles G. acuta sp. nov. and differs from it as discussed under that species.
