Sympycnodes epicycla group
Currently, we include two species in the S. epicycla group, S. epicycla and S. arachnophora . Both species are characterized by the greyish brown forewings, the prominent discal spot or streak, and the numerous strigulae running perpendicular to the midline forming generally incomplete stripes. The larval foodplants of this species group are unknown.
