This species was previously only recorded from Angola, the Central African Republic, DRC. and Cameroon ( Ferreira 1972; Davis et al. 2008).
New country record for Zambia: Two specimens, 30 km SSW of Kitwe, 7–19 December 2011. The specimens were collected in cattle dung-baited pitfall traps set in open miombo woodland. This record represents both the most southerly and most easterly record for the species .
