Material examined. Dam Bay, mangrove plantation, Nha Phu, about 70 specimens. Abundance. Common.

Measurements. Up to 19 mm ( Tan & Clements 2008).

Ecological notes. Development with free swimming veliger ( Fukumori & Kano 2014).

A brackish estuarine species. Occurs on sandy banks of mangrove streams, sand, stones, and concrete surfaces of drainage canals near sea in intertidal zone ( Tan & Clements 2008).

In studied sites it was found on sand banks of mangrove streams and in the canals in upper and mid-intertidal zones in mangrove plantation and in natural mangroves, co-occurs with Clithon oualaniense .

Relation to mangroves. Eurybiotic.

Distribution in Vietnam. Central coast ( Hylleberg 2000; Thach 2005).

General distribution. From Japan to Singapore ( Okutani 2000; Tan & Clements 2008).
