Bomolochus bellones was collected on the gills of Belone belone .
This species has been reported from the Mediterranean on B. belone and Tylosurus acus imperialis ( T. acus acus ) by Raibaut et al. (1998). In North Africa, it was also found on Belone by Rose and Vaissière (1952).
