Treatment

The type population of the only species in the genus, B. utahensis (Baldwin, Mundo-Ocampo & Othman, 1983) Wouts, 1985 , was obtained from roots and surrounding soil of wild rose ( Rosa sp. L., Rosaceae ) in Clear Creek Canyon, Sevier County, Utah, USA ( Baldwin et al. 1983). Additional specimens were collected from the same host at Gates Creek, Utah, USA in the same study.
